The Cloud of Arabia is a unique work conceived by Karam and his studio with the collaboration of Arup, London. Inspired by the nomads whose travels follow the borderless movement of clouds, The Cloud of Arabia is conceived as a public platform and an antithesis to the skyscrapers of new cityscapes in the region.

The Cloud of Arabia is a sustainable landscape-in-the-sky, standing at a height of approximately 250 metres, with around 20 000 m2 of gardens, bridges, walkways, and terraces. Its space frame is generated from a specific non-periodic packing structure that works like a sponge and can be carved out while maintaining its structure.

With its mega scale and elevated horizontal presence, The Cloud of Arabia offers an incomparable experience of the city, suspended between artificiality and reality.
