Wheels of Innovation was commissioned by Nissan and installed at its Yokohama headquarters in June 2017. It was conceived to represent Nissan’s values, growth and international development within a system based on diversity.
The five large-scale wheels, representing Globalisation, Sustainability, Challenge, Alliance and Diversity, were developed as metaphors for the five pivots of Nissan’s growth. They also evoke the continuous evolution and ingeniousness of Nissan as a car manufacturer within the larger industry.
